About Agile Project and Portfolio Summit 2016

This summit will bring together industry leaders from around North America to close the gap between Agile and traditional project management. The summit will provide challenging technology sessions that will cause Traditional project managers and executives in attendance to pause and consider Agile and cause Agile leaders to understand and build the bridge to the Traditional approaches.  Three tracks will be held in addition to keynotes and a panel discussion addressing agile teams, projects, organizational transformations, and portfolio and enterprise agile.

About the Project Management Program at Harrisburg University

Harrisburg University offers a Master of Science in Project Management using both traditional waterfall methods and agile methods.  One of the core academic program goals is for students to be able to demonstrate the applied knowledge and technical expertise in the management of a single team to meet stakeholder needs within constraints and aligned with agile project management frameworks with industry best practices.  Another program goal is for students to demonstrate the use of enterprise agile frameworks. This summit builds on these overall goals for our commercial and governmental partners.
