Jennifer Robinson is a member of SAS’s U.S. Government Practice, working to help local governments maximize the use of their data through data integration, data management and analytics. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s of Science, she developed financial software for federal agencies and performed data modeling for private companies. She caught the public service bug in the mid-90s, and has been serving as a Councilwoman for Cary, NC since 1999. As a Councilwoman, she places a high focus on forward-thinking planning, environmental stewardship, excellent infrastructure, and services and amenities. She serves as a member on many boards that promote the success of cities and counties such as the North Carolina League of Municipalities, Triangle J Council of Government, GoTriangle Transit Authority, and the National Association of Regional Councils. As the Director of Local government Solutions for SAS, Jennifer helps cities use analytics to turn data into information so that they are able to make more knowledge-based decisions. She is focused on establishing repeatable, appropriately priced solutions for local governments. All of her hard work has led to the following awards: Citizen of the Year by Cary Chamber of Commerce, Woman of Wake County by Cary Magazine, and Goodman Fellow by Leadership Triangle.
