Billie Anderson, Professor of Analytics, Harrisburg University
Data visualization is the practice of displaying data in a format that is easy for others to consume. Data visualization is far more than creating a bar chart or histogram. There is a rich set of tools and techniques that can be applied to make the visualization user-friendly for the intended audience. This presentation will focus on best practices when creating data visualizations. In addition, you will be shown how to incorporate Edward Tufte design techniques into visualizations.
