Career Fair Bootcamp – Employer Panel Discussion

Are you ready to standout and land your job or internship at the Career Fair? A panel from partnering companies will present best practices for showcasing your skill set and standing out from the crowd at a career fair. Topics will include preparation, dress, non-verbal communication, what to expect during a career fair, and elevator pitches. This session will also allow for student questions and assist students with becoming more comfortable during future career fairs. Continental breakfast will be provided for participants. Registration is required to attend.

Employer Resume Reviews

Have your resume reviewed by an expert in the industry! Guest employers from the panel will be on site to review students’ resumes and provide expert advice from their industry. This is an additional opportunity for students to directly network with potential future employers and gain knowledgeable resume skills.

Join us in attending the CPEC Job & Internship Fair! Over 100 employers will be providing on-site interviews, collecting resumes, and providing company information. Transportation will be provided to the fair hosted at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg. Registration is required for transportation.

A panel from partnering companies will present best practices, tips, and the importance of a strong professional brand for writing a cover letter.

Watch for live updates and student responses! Throughout the week, HU Career Services and Experiential Learning will be posting post-event responses from students displaying their educational outcomes from specific events. We will also be encouraging conversation around career topics and development. This virtual event will be student lead.
