The Convergence of Data Science and Product Management: My Experience at Comcast

Is there a role for product management within the sphere of data science? In this presentation I discuss the very limited role PM played at the inception of the data science team within the business intelligence group and the problems that arose during the first few years. I also discuss the evolution of the team in the last three years with a focus on incorporating PM best practices and the successes that have been achieved.
