Join us the day before the GeoDev Summit for technical training to gain an in-depth learning opportunity in Javascript and Python for ArchGIS. This technical training will take place in-person at Harrisburg University.

8:15 – 9:00 AM: Registration
9:00 – noon: Java Script
Session Description: This workshop will introduce attendees to writing modern JavaScript using ECMAScript 6 standards. Attendees will learn how to make websites interactive, as well as learn the basics of creating web mapping applications
Attendees should bring their own laptop
Noon – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break – LUNCH ON YOUR OWN
1:00 – 4:00 PM: Python for ArcGIS
Session Description: This workshop will focus on the ArcPy Python site package in ArcGIS with hands-on exercises designed to provide the essential skills to use Python in ArcGIS more effectively.
Attendees should bring their own laptop
