At the Edge of Survival: Adapting Ukraine’s Innovation Ethos for the Pacific
Ukraine has proven that rapid field iteration and low-cost mass are essential to modern battlefield survival, but contiguous supply lines won’t exist in a Pacific conflict. While traditional Western acquisition struggles to match the massive production capacity of peer adversaries, non-contiguous island-hopping warfare demands distributed, localized manufacturing at the forward edge. This talk outlines how adapting Ukraine’s innovation ethos to an island-hopping theater can secure Western industrial resilience before time runs out.
