About Speaker
"Beth Andreoli is a director of transformation for the Governor's Office of Performance through Excellence (OPE). She is responsible for assisting the public safety agencies implement and sustain Lean processes. Beth's OPE HUB agencies are Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole (PBPP), Department of Corrections (DOC), Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), and Pennsylvania State Police (PSP). Beth also works with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC). Beth graduated from Mt. Carmel Area High School, the home of the Red Tornadoes, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in administration of justice from Pennsylvania State University. After college, Beth worked as a caseworker for Children and Youth in Northumberland County. Before joining the commonwealth, she was employed by Nationwide Insurance as a medical claims representative and later as a rate examiner who reviewed auto policies for instances of rate evasion. Beth has been with the commonwealth since 2007 and worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance in various roles. She was an investigator in the Bureau of Consumer Services, a claims evaluator for the Auto CAT Fund, and a property and casualty policy examiner. She was part of the department's training committee in an effort to identify educational and training opportunities for employees. She was one of the department's Lean leads and has a strong interest in making government work better. The Lean initiative is of particular interest to Beth because it empowers employees to improve the work they do every day. She enjoys training facilitation, meeting people from various agencies, and learning how each agency impacts the lives of Pennsylvanians. Beth secured the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Associate Professional in Insurance Regulation designation, is certified in Change Management, has secured a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt academic certificate, and is a Lean Green Belt through the commonwealth's Lean certification program. Beth lives in West Hanover Township with her two daughters. She enjoys attending her daughters’ sporting events, live music, road trips, and is a volunteer youth group facilitator at the LGBT Center in Harrisburg. "
