About Speaker
Meghan Rooney is a Revenue Research Analyst within the Department of Revenue's (DOR) Customer Experience Center (CEC). Meghan graduated in 2015 from Shippensburg University with her BS in Public Admission with duel minors in History and International Studies with a concertation in African studies. Meghan joined DOR in 2016 as a temporary field office clerk for tax season and then took a permanent position in the Collections Call Center where she worked for 2.5 years. While working in the call center, she was approached to become the call center's first research analyst. Since 2019, Meghan has been pioneering and bringing new ideas regarding data management to the call center and has been a vital member of the team through a merging of two of the department's call centers and working through the pandemic. Outside of work, Meghan can be found at the barn riding her horse, hiking with any of her dogs, or baking a number of sweets for her husband.
