Joshua has experience transforming federal agencies to modern development practices. He has worked with DoD, DHS. and other agencies. He was initially a contractor with multiple companies and then became a federal employee working at USCIS as the Division Chief for Applied Technology Division, where he worked closely with the CIO to move programs to DevOps delivery across a large organization. He has provided advice and help across the federal government in procurement of agile services.
He left the federal government at the beginning of February for Whitehawk, a start up focused on security for small and medium businesses, where he is the Chief Engineer.
