Greg Walsh, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, Division of Science and Information Arts and Technologies Program Director, MS in Interactive Design and Information Architecture, University of Baltimore

Greg is the program director for the University of Baltimore’s MS, Interaction Design and Information Architecture and graduate certificate in User Experience (UX) Design. He has partnered with unique groups whose problems are best solved through user-centered design including NPR, Chase Brexton Health Care, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Greg’s research involves user-centered design for children and he leads UB’s intergenerational design team, KidsteamUB, through which children and adults work as partners to design new technologies for children. The need for research into this topic was recognized by Google, who awarded him a Google Faculty Research Award to continue this work in an online environment in order to include more voices in the design process.
