Thursday, April 4, 2024 (Day 1) – 11:00 am – 4:30* p.m.

UPMC Health Sciences Tower, 222 Chestnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101

Check-in begins at 10:00 a.m.

You will see signs directing you to the Check-In tables. You will receive a nametag and other materials at the time of check-in and staff will direct you to the main session rooms.

Parking: While Harrisburg University does have a parking garage, in the event the garage is full due to faculty and staff parking, other parking options include street parking or the Walnut Street Garage or Chestnut Street Garage, all within walking distance of the University. You do not need a badge to get to 1st floor at anytime during the day.

Food & Beverage: Lunch and beverages will be provided.

*Birthing Justice Film Screening and Discussion: All attendees are invited to stay for a special film screening and discussion, beginning at 5:00 pm.

7:00 a.m. – Meet at the front of Harrisburg University, 326 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101

7:30 a.m. – Registration Opens & Networking Breakfast

Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m.

Opening Remarks begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Keynote Presentation, “Changing the Narrative: Achieving Health Equity By Creating A New Social Contract,” presented by Anthony Iton, M.D., J.D., MPH, Senior Vice President, Programs & Partnerships, The California Endowment

Food & Beverage: Breakfast, lunch, and beverages will be provided on Floors 11 and 12.

Sponsors & Exhibitors: Sponsors will have representation at the event on the 11th floor. Joy & Justice Exhibitors will be on the 12th floor. We encourage you to spend time talking with these individuals! They help make this event possible.

*Networking Reception: All attendees are invited to stay for a Networking Reception on the 14th floor beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Presentations: All attendees of the conference will have the opportunity to view both in person and virtually. Your Airmeet platform link also allows you to watch the replay of the sessions post-event.

The Hilton Harrisburg located at One North Second Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101, is the most convenient hotel in proximity to the University. There is an indoor walkway directly from the hotel to the University in case of inclement weather
