This program highlights two of the most common upper extremity clinical presentations which can be complex to treat – anterior shoulder pain and ulnar sided wrist pain. Whether these conditions occur acutely, are associated with other conditions or develop over time they benefit from a targeted, evidence based and comprehensive differential evaluation to efficiently determine effective treatments. Complex anatomy, vulnerable structures due to overuse and the potential for several concomitant diagnoses contribute to their challenging clinical presentations. A team of hand surgeons and hand therapists collaboratively share a streamlined approach to link clinical presentation to treatment specificity which will help participants achieve superior patient outcomes.
